Fall Smile...

I had this big pumpkin for a week now and wanted to get Joshua in it. But then I decided I wanted to get J1 on it for a shot. Easier said than done since he's really not into me taking his pic!

Here is his new hat. He drew on the original "jungle" hat and I used that as an excuse to get him into a bigger one (the old one was so small it was leaving a ring on his head!). Then we lost the new one for a week at church and during that time, John ordered this one and a black one from NOTW (for pretty cheap, go daddy!). And although it's too big, he's wearing it everywhere and at least he's warm, right? We even found hat #2 but this is always his choice these days!

I think he looks like a Mad Hatter:
Cheese!

I got him to smile nice by giving him my phone to take pics. Then I told him to hold it behind his back and I'd count to three (slowly) and he'd pop it out and scream "Peek-a-boo!" It worked twice before he realized it really was a lame game. Oh well, I got one decent shot!
Peek-a-boo!

Happy Fall!

Mommy Moment: We went to the Nursing home to visit Grandma and Jeremiah loves to play around in a little waiting area. He was dancing and singing when a lady walked by and asked him his name. He replied, "I'm Dancing Man!" and did a little jig for her. Goofy kid. =)

"Picture Me!"

How can I resist such a request?

Even if he's sporting Spiderman PJ's, eating a waffle, standing in front of a pile of things that I need to put away, and insists on being as close to the camera lens as possible?

Even with this face?
Cheese!

And even if he poses himself on the floor like this?
Leggo My Eggo!

Nope, can't resist it. =)
Sweetness

Mommy Moment: We were snuggling at bedtime and I remarked at how long he was getting...
Me: "You're getting SO big!"
J1: "Yes, I'm growing!"
Me: "How do you grow so big and so fast?"
J1: "Um..... lots of water!"
Me: "Oh, really?"
J1: "Yes, like in the bathtub."
=)

Four Months Old!

Boy time is sure flying by! I'm glad I chose this Tonka Truck so we can take these indoors if we need to! Today was really cold and the wind just made things worse! I didn't want to shoot in the same spot as any of the others but didn't really have time to pack up and go anywhere. Plus, like I mentioned - it was COLD outside! I just put the truck next to the van to block the wind and set up this oh-so-exciting shot (lol) and Jane helped me stuff Joshua into the truck and prop him up a bit so he wouldn't just fall out (although she was close to catch him if needed!). I snapped quickly so we could get back inside but at least you can tell how big he's getting! Even if he's in his jammies! lol

Happy Four Months, Buddy!
Four Months!

And then this face... it's so him! lol
Four Months!
See, his lips are so full until he smiles. I love that!

HERE is a link to the other Tonka Truck growth shots!

Mommy Moment: We were out shopping and Joshua gets lots of attention when riding in the sling. One lady gushed over how cute it was that Joshua was tucked in there and then asked Jeremiah what his name was. He told her then added, "...and this is my friend, Joshua!"

Evolution of Wedding Dance

Ok, I LOVE the Evolution of Dance video on YouTube but this is just as hilarious because it's "real" people! I wanna know, which of my upcoming brides are doing this next?!

This guy really has some moves! He's limber and energetic and wears me out just watching!

Think I could get my Hubby to do this at our 20th? haha!

Sneek Peek for Sarah & Kerry!

Ok, I couldn't stand it and had to peek at these tonight even though it's late!

Thanks so much you two for a fun E-Session! Sarah, you will be a stunning bride, you are so beautiful! When we met, I knew Kerry was a lucky guy but now that I've met him, I have to say you are also a lucky girl! Congrats on the engagement and I can't wait until the wedding!

Sneak Peek for the "F" Family!

I had so much fun with you guys this afternoon! Your boys are GORGEOUS! And busy but totally fun! All that boys should be, right? Thanks for letting me chase you around the park!

I haven't gone through all the images but I ran across this little gem and thought it might make you feel better about how things went. Look at these happy smiles!

Happy Family

More to come!

Hi, I Have A Big Brother.

Can you tell?
Helpless Little Brother

After dressing Joshua up with the "hat" and glasses, the glasses slid to the end of his tiny nose and Jeremiah laughed hysterically, exclaiming that he looked like a doctor. ??? As you can see, Joshua didn't think it was quite so funny. I believe that look says, "Are you kidding me?"

Jeremiah LOVES to play with Joshua. When Joshua is awake, he can't hardly eat because big brother is always jumping in his face with a loud sing-song voice, "Joshua! What are you doing? Do you like to talk? Do you want to play with me?" Then he proceeds to play with his arms and legs and tickle him and poke his cheeks while squealing, "Squishy-squishy!" Poor kid. One day I'm sure he'll get his revenge but for now, he tolerates him and I think he may actually be enjoying it! Jeremiah likes to hold Joshua, let him pull his hair and he thinks its hilarious when he drools everywhere. *sigh* Boys.

Mommy Moment: I was holding Joshua and Jeremiah was jumping around doing all that I described above. He took a moment to hug on Joshua and said, "Awww... we love each other!" *swoon*

Sneek Peek for the A Family!

Wonderful family! Aren't they adorable? I had so much fun with you all, thanks for allowing me to capture your family! Here is a sneak peek for you and there is so many more to come!

We also did K's Senior pictures while we were there...

Mommy Moment: I love that they love each other already...

That's Right, Baby!

... and you do too, Punk Hair Kid!
Mommy Rocks
Not the best pic but it still makes me smile!

Mommy Momment:
Overheard this sweet voice from the kitchen: "George, do you want a cookie?"
Monkey impersonation: "Ahh-haaaaa!"
Sweet Voice: "Oh, ok."
*Sounds of the cookie jar clinking*
"Here you go, George!"
"Ahhhh!"

Gee, wonder what happened in there?

(For those who haven't followed the blog long, 'George' is Curious George the Monkey - Jeremiah's imaginary friend!)

Have a blessed day!

Nice Hair...

Joshua pulls and pulls at his hair when he's sleeping and eating. He finished up eating and I laid him on the changing table and saw this. Too funny! It is especially bad now that the back and sides are falling out from rubbing. He's our little punk rocker, reminds me of Don King...
Nice Hair

Love these sleepy smooshy lips!

Mommy Moment: I set Joshua in the swing so I could hopefully go to the bathroom in peace for once in 4 years. When I came back I found Jeremiah camped out next to him singing to him and telling him about his toys. Love it!
Brothers

Us...

We were goofing off on the living room floor so I thought I might attempt a pic of the four of us...

These are so bad but I love them because it's us! (Mental note: 'turtle' your chin when taking pics from this perspective!) I think Joshua was watching tv - football?
Family

Not watching tv here, but the kids think (understand?) that we are nuts!
Family

Oh, well... we had fun!

Mommy Moment: We got to church last night and settled into our seat. Joshua was a bit fussy as he was ready for a nap. Jeremiah insisted Joshua was hungry and was disappointed I didn't feed him right then. He has been carrying around a little puppy - "Cutie" (??) - and decided that Cutie needed to eat. He then proceeded to stuff Cutie up into his shirt! A little girl (about ten y/o with baby bro and sis) giggled when she realized what he was doing, He looked at her and sternly said, "It's not funny! The puppy is hungry!"

100 Days!!!!

Okay, so his 100th day was this past Sunday and I'm a blog slacker - sorry! Life happens, you know? It's been a stressful and highly emotional roller coaster around here these past few weeks and in the middle of it all, Joshua hit his 100th day.

Happy Paegil, little buddy!

This is a BIG deal in Korean tradition. It comes from the old, old days when many babies did not survive this long. So they made all these rules about not leaving the house and no one could visit and it was taboo to give baby gifts... all until this glorious 100th day. Then the party started! lol I couldn't find a really great site to explain it all but this one will do: Korean Traditions And no, we didn't pass out 100 rice cakes. I couldn't even get my family to try them! (Except Leanne - you go girl!) They really are yummy, those chickens don't know what they're missing!

My mom would be greatly embarrassed that we didn't celebrate super huge, Korean style, but she wasn't here to set me straight. She'll be here for his Tol - first birthday - another HUGE deal in Korean tradition. Then she can take over and do it right! lol

Joshua's 100th day happened to fall on a Sunday. Not a very good day for us to prepare a huge meal and have guests over since we are pretty busy on Sundays being a Pastor's family and all. Well, that and we didn't really remember it was coming up until the last minute - doh! But it just didn't seem right to celebrate it on day 99, right? So we scrounged up what Korean food we did have and invited the family for lunch. It was terribly informal - just like me. But it was just fun to gather together, eat yummy food and celebrate life and health and to be thankful for our littlest man. Even if he did sleep through the meal. Oh well, he got to eat it later. ;)

I was too busy in the kitchen to take pics so I snapped a few later that afternoon of the man of the hour. The color on these are all different and crazy! I'll have to fix that before I print them...

"Here she goes again..."
Huh?

"Argh!" (We love pirates!) He just needs an eye patch, don't you think?
Argh!

Love these thick, full lips!
Smoochie!

Even if they all but disappear when he smiles!

And guess what?!?!

Thanks to Target, they come in a winter version!
SuperKid
Complete with cape and lights on his chest. Lucky us... maybe. He's a bit thrilled, can you tell?

Mommy Moment: You know those mornings when you get up and your hair is all funky, stingy... a mess? I was helping Jeremiah get his pants on and he looks up and notices my wild, shaggy 'do and smiles really big. I'm expecting him to laugh and crack some remark about how crazy I look and he says, "Mommy! Your hair! It's so pretty! You look beautiful!" Awww... he got a big hug from a funky momma.

Major Photo Overload...

Just a {huge} sampling of the rest of the images from the K1 & K2 shoot last week. Now they can quit nagging me. But I still want ice cream...

It was a thrown together shoot. A friend from my photography group wanted to tag along on a shoot and K1 had been bugging me so we killed two birds that afternoon!

Little man was so good even though he tagged along. I SO do not endorse bringing along the little ones. I was very distracted by worrying about his safety (when I was looking through my camera and not at him at all times!) and his happiness! But while I shot one, the other girl would watch him. Still, it was a bit unnerving to mommy!

Tried out some texture on this shot. Not sure I like it. I don't think K1 likes the texture stuff either so I guess it doesn't matter! lol

Mommy Moment: Jeremiah does not like to eat fresh fruit. It's a texture thing. He pays very little attention to what I eat but one day he was snuggling up close as I ate a peach. He looked and saw the dark brown pit in the middle of the soft orange-ish flesh of the peach and said, "Hey! You got a brownie in your orange?" Maybe that'll be one way to get him to try it but he'll be sorely disappointed, don't you think???
