Tatt & Mark: Married...

I just love weddings. Perhaps its because I love being married. Or love the atmosphere of the ceremony. Or maybe it's just that I love LOVE.

I was blessed to second shoot for a good friend today. The sweet couple had a beautiful little ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family and the love ran deep and wide. Congrats to the happy couple!

I love the little details...

They were so adorable coming down the aisle after the ceremony.
*sigh* So young and in love...

They couldn't stop smiling! But then again, no one could stop smiling!
Their joy was so contagious!

I'm telling you, all my brides are gorgeous! Am I just so lucky or do I have a magic camera?

Tatt was no exception to this:

As they mingled with guests shortly after the ceremony, I caught this little moment. Even though they were surrounded by many others, it was as if it were just the two of them.

*sigh* Love.

{Love Jess's Sapphire Dreams action on that shot!}

And they'll LOVE happily ever after!

Balance...

Sometimes it's difficult to balance the many things in life such as work, school, extra-curricular activities, family, friends...

And your fiance'...

I couldn't help but peek through these and laugh at this one all over again! He didn't actually drop her, they just toppled a little too far to the side for a moment. lol You two are so cute!

And a quickie ring shot:

Congrats all over again, Dani & Brad!

This wasn't the official Engagement Session. I took pics of my niece and her guy last year on Thanksgiving and we decided to update them this year when we all got together again. We'll figure out a date for a real E-Session but we have time since they aren't tying that knot until 2011. And just so you know future brides, May 21st that year is already booked. <3

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
I'm thankful for so many things. I am so blessed. Thank You, Lord!!!
Post a comment of what you are thankful for this year! :)

Bathing Buddies...

They had so much fun I got the camera out and snapped a few shots for memories. To avoid a picture overload of all the hilariously fun shots, I spared you and put a few together in a collage and I think I'm going to print this for the bathroom wall...

"Why is the water green?" You ask?

This makes bathtime extra fun and experimenting with secondary and even tertiary colors. But I'm warning you... two boys in a tub full of yellow water is not a pretty sight. Just sayin'.

Well, It's Official...

Yup, it's official. His eyelashes are longer than the hair on his head...

I tend to be a bit impulsive when it comes to haircuts. I will think about it for a looooong time but when I finally decide it needs to happen, I have to get it done ASAP. In this case it was easy to just run the clippers around his little head. My little 'porcupine' (Isn't that right, GG?). I was getting tired of the monk look and it just stuck straight out all over his head. This is much easier to tame!

I love kid pics in color but I loved Jess's Fave B&W action on this:

And for comparison's sake... It's just so unreal for anyone to have lashes this long!

This was also Jess's Fave B&W action with a little of the folky layer left on. LOVE it! You can get her amazing MUST-HAVE actions here: CLICK THIS!!! Seriously, they aren't some crazy actions you will never use, these are time-saving tools that will rock your pics and you will use all.the.time! Check them out!

And Amy... this one is for you. It's a random snapshot but every time I look at it, I see another little cutie. Especially with his hair cut short he reminds me so much of - Guess Who! :) And I keep thinking about what was said about Caleb's hair when he was born: "Hims got a nice haircut." :)

Stinker Roo Strikes Again...

You know trouble is brewing when Joshua is on the loose and all falls quiet in the house. I went searching for the little rascal and found that he had crawled into bed with still-sleeping Jeremiah and tucked himself in right next to him.

No big deal, right?

But then upon closer inspection I noticed that Joshua didn't snuggle up with big brother to sleep. Noooooooooo, he just wanted a cozy place to cherish the forbidden...

Didn't even mind the wrapper...

I'm still not really sure where he found this sucker, but it was so funny, I had to take a picture before letting him know it wasn't the best thing for so early in the morning!

Boys In The Leaves...

I had this *bright* idea of getting my boys together in the leaves for a sweet fall picture. Maybe even one for a Christmas card if I get the energy to make one. They had a blast playing the the gorgeous golden leaves and I had a challenge getting them to sit still long enough to grab a shot of them looking the right way and smiling. But I managed a couple...

Cheese!

I love my boys!!!

So I got the pretty smiley ones but then they didn't seem so fun so this one might be the Christmas card pic since it is more true to life around here...

Merry Christmas!

You Might Be A Redneck...

If your mom captures you with BillyBob Buckteeth in and no shirt on...

Teeheehee... we were Skype-ing with my mom and Jeremiah dug out these nasty looking pair of teeth to show her. It was hilarious and this image still cracks me up remembering it!

Oh, and yes, this image is part of the stuff-I-never-posted series. Although... my mom said I did post the last set and I had to laugh at myself for being so scatterbrained about it! I lost my mind and I think my sanity followed (haha Deanna!)!!! So, yeah... if I have posted this before, just enjoy it again. :)

Yes, Folks, I Am A Professional...

Please do not steal or copy my amazingly-perfect-every-time shots. I know you are all just dying to shoot like me with every shot so perfectly clear and in crispy sharp focus... Here is an example of how I am consistently awesome with every shot:

Aren't they such a lovely couple?

Or was this a family shoot?

Or that one guy's dog?

lol Go me.

Dear Daddy...

Apparently, you need to cram in more "boy" time. Especially with Joshua as he likes to play in Mommy's makeup. Mommy is getting tired of cleaning up eyeliner all over the bathroom and all over Joshua's face...

He's starting to look like Gene Simmons from KISS...

Actually, this is a mild version of what Joshua usually does. I was just a little less frustrated enough this time to remember to get the camera out to document these moments for his future wife.

And just a few random snaps of the boys wrestling. Joshua is counting how long Jeremiah's been down...

And taking a moment to admire Jeremiah's hair...

And this one is for Jess who seems to think my house is always so neat and tidy...

I wish! Ugh to clutter!

{Mommy Moment}
As sad as this is it still made me laugh: Joshua was especially unruly one day and that evening he didn't let up as I buckled him into his car seat next to Jeremiah. I said teasingly, "Joshua, what am I going to do with you? Do you not like me and want to go live with someone else?" To which Jeremiah quickly jumped in without skipping a beat and said to him with a hug and kiss, "Goodbye, Joshua. We'll miss you."

Stuff I Never Posted...

I'm thinking I should just start a series of posts like this. I have so many unposted images that are dying to get a chance to strut their stuff here but alas... life is calling. And, really, that is ok sometimes too!

These are from JUNE. I'm not kidding. At least I'm still in the same year, right? We took Jeremiah to the park to do a little fishing and we did just that. A LITTLE fishing. Mostly just goofing off and enjoying each other's company. You know, the good stuff.

My mom got lots of Joshua time while Daddy and Jeremiah fished...

Tossing bread bits to the ducks...

The little fisherman...

The little cutie...

We ended up at the water park and Jeremiah had to play with the water gun as the sun was setting...

Joshua was content to play in the puddles...

Fun in the golden light...

Katie: Class of 2010

I can't believe you are really a Senior!!! Time sure does fly...

Just a quickie sneak peek from tonight's session for my sweet Miss Katie!

Mmmm... I love this lens... But it might just be that Katie is just too fabulous and it wouldn't matter what lens I used!

Rock it, girl!

Gorgeous-ness

Katie, you are so beautiful! I am so honored to capture this exciting time in your life. You are an amazing young lady and I am blessed to know you. (And you're a pretty great babysitter too!)
