Sara & Byron: Engaged!

Although they attended the same high school, their paths didn't cross enough for either to take notice of the other until their college years were coming to a close and careers began to settle into place. They brushed off missing that opportunity to get to know each other earlier in their young lives as if it's the sort of thing that just happens. These two say it was through mutual friends that they discovered each other and that is when it began. But it is said that sometimes love comes softly... Sometimes it waits for the two hearts to form to the correct mold, shaped by life experiences and the people in it. After the two hearts go through this process, they are finally ready to be fitted with the perfect counterpart and begin a new forging, a making of one complete heart...

Sarah & Byron, you two are magical together. Your love is not selfish or giddy, but mature and deep. It is giving and accepting and that makes it amazing and fun. What a joy to spend an afternoon with you two capturing this incredible time in your lives. I can't wait for your wedding in August!!!

Another example of how my brides are the most gorgeous brides...

And apparently my grooms aren't so bad either!

*sigh*

Sara, you are beautiful. You just are.

Mmmm... yummy warm light...

We did a few indoors and their fabulousness just did not stop!

We had some fun too. :)

With such a great-looking couple this wedding is bound to be AMAZING!

XOXO

Merry Christmas!

Hope you had an amazing Christmas and praying that the love and blessings flow throughout the year!

Fowler Christmas Picture Overload...

Get comfy if you plan on viewing all the pics in this post today!

We spent the afternoon at my Sis-In-Law's house baking and decorating cookies. Each little chef got their own hat! TOO cute!

It just doesn't get any better than this, now does it? {I love cookies!}

Jeremiah skipped the rolling/cutting/baking part as he felt he didn't need to get dirty from all the flour. So he played with Thomas instead...

Miss Kate, on the other hand, had a blast getting things going...
And Joshua? Sweet Joshua... he did what he loves to do these days: Suck on his finger and stuff his hands/feet up my sleeves or pant leg...

Kate getting her cookie groove on...

The serious cookie decorators...

(Frosting finger licking is serious business too!)

We decided this little cutie was the most professional looking with frosting on her face...

And Joshua... well he was still doing his own thing on the kitchen floor...

Creative Creations:

Joshua had the second most fun playing with all the singing/dancing snowmen...

And he took his many turns with Thomas as well...

This next one cracked me up because it looks like the sisters fighting over the cookies! But really it was sisters helping each other make room to put all the cookies...

And nothing like a good game of Sorry! before everyone had to head home...

And a really bad snapshot of our Charlie Brown tree...

I sometimes think I'd want a beautifully decorated tree with gorgeous delicate matching ornaments and ribbons... but then I would really miss the personal element our tree has. Like these goofy gold bells that I keep using because when we put up our first tree together, we only had these gold bells to decorate with!

And the ornaments the boys get to reflect their lives that past year. Like this one from the year Jeremiah was obesssed with plastic food...

My "theme" was going to be blue and silver. But things never seem to turn out as I imagined them. So just pretend it was uber lovely this year! lol

And if you scoot back and squint your eyes real good... this is what the tree looks like. lol

Wow, you made it through the whole post?!?!? What a dedicated blog stalker you are! Sorry for the image overload. And it's not even Christmas yet! Well, technically it is Chrismas Eve since I am not in bed yet... bad girl.

And just so you know, we didn't do the Christmas card thing this year. I got too busy with life and work and kids and school and stuff... and it seems no one else around here knows how to pick up a box of cards from the store either. Sooooooooo... I'm thinking March is typically uninteresting and wouldn't that be a fun surprise to get a cute card from the Fowlers then? Hmmmm... keep an eye out...

Merry CHRISTmas!!!! God Bless!

Katie & Jason: Married!

You might remember Katie from her Bridal Portraits taken in October (CLICK HERE to see them). She was even more stunning on her wedding day this past weekend...

Although it wasn't a Christmas wedding, you couldn't deny the magical time of year and Katie added some details to incorporate the season into her special day...

Her mother made her garter and also made the ring pillow to match, isn't this gorgeous?

Katie's "Something Old" was from her mother and she attached it to her bouquet...

I love the Groom's expression as he sees his bride for the first time...

His adoration didn't end there, he was beaming throughout the entire ceremony...

They were married in the recently remodeled Saints Joseph and Paul...

For Katie...

Once again I have to say that my Brides are always especially stunning...

Katie & Jason... Many blessings to you two as you begin your life as one. Your wedding couldn't have been more beautiful - a reflection of your hearts and of your families. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek and have a great time soaking up warm sunshine on your honeymoon!
xoxo

Sucker...

The little stinker. We were fortunate to avoid this habit but suddenly in the past month he decided it would be a wonderful thing and now we have a fingersucker. He tried the thumb but seemed to prefer his index finger. He has also developed the habit of digging in your clothes while he sucks his finger. He will randomly come up to you and dig in your sleeve or your pant leg, looking for the warmth of your skin. Funny little stinker...

But he's so gosh-darn cute we're gonna keep him!
