Jeremiah was not interested in his spelling words today. He was actually not paying any attention at all. One at a time I asked him to spell them and then threw in an easy one: we.
Here is how the conversation went between myself and a little boy thinking of playing instead of school...
Mommy: Jeremiah, spell "we".
Jeremiah thinks for a moment while playing with a marker. "W-I-I".
Mommy: No, not "Wii" like a video game. "WE" like WE are going to the store, you and I are going to the store. WE."
Jey thinks for a moment then quickly blurts out: "J-E-R-E-M-I-A-H-M-O-M-M-Y"
*sigh*
Joshua LOVES to help. No matter what you are doing, he's always helpful. Helpful to a fault, usually.
One thing he loves to do is help me with laundry. He likes it when I pass him the freshly washed clothes and he gets to throw them into the dryer. Sometimes he comes close to falling in but this time he just climbed in! So of course, I had to get pictures...
Checking it all out...
Peek a boo!
I got really close with my wide angle and gave him a bobble head...
I love my crazy little monkey!
{Mommy Moment}
I now have a healthy fear of Joshua climbing into the dryer and Jeremiah deciding to turn it on to see if he'd tumble. It'll probably be Joshua's idea. And if you leave your kid here for a little while and your kid looks like he shrunk... it was probably Joshua's idea.
YIKES.
It's a glorious day outside! Clear blue skies, beautiful weather... perfect day for a wedding! Today Sara & Byron shall commit to become one and I am so blessed to capture it! The fabulous Jess Bell will join me and we always have a blast!
Just for fun, here is the happy couple at rehearsal last night...
Can't wait for tonight!
xoxo
Nothing like a little 3 week old sweetness...
Love his lips!
(Look at those chubs! Don't you just want to eat him up?!)
xoxo
His room was gorgeous in browns and greens and lots of fun little touches...
Mom and Dad, you are so blessed! What a beautiful family...
*swoon*
Stacy and Clay, thanks so much for allowing me to photograph your precious little Cooper! He was a perfect angel and I enjoyed crashing your home to capture these memories of your family. I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek - more to come!
I don't watch much TV but when I do, it's usually something on Food Network. I'm not a great chef or anything, I just like learning new things and seeing different kinds of foods. I like lots of different kinds of food and if I see something that sounds unusual on a menu I am very likely to try it! BUT the boys in this house are plain old meat and potatoes. More like Bacon and Fries. No creativity appreciated at meal times. Boo!
So it really cracks me up that Jeremiah wanted to do this video. He didn't want to eat what was on his plate (he is THE pickiest eater I know) and after chopping it up into teeny tiny pieces he decided he needed his own show on Food Network. I got tickled and as soon as we finished eating we got the camera out to record his debut. (Maybe we can use it for his audition for the next Food Network Star???)
Don't mind the messy kitchen in the background, we had not even cleaned up after dinner yet. And I didn't splice the videos together so you get a commercial break in between the three clips. I had to stop the camera the first time because of an accident on the set (and it cuts off right at the funniest expression of the one who caused the accident!). Then the next cut is when we had to stop and blow on the food so he could eat it. lol
Oh, and he originally told me his show would be called "Cooking with Chef Jeremiah and his glubs!" (gloves. Which he really meant oven mitts. When I told him that is what they are called, he said "oh yeah, ubben mints.")
If you know my kid, you will appreciate this. Mr. Picky fixes a nasty dish and tastes it like a real trooper. If you don't know my kid, you'll enjoy his dramatic ways. Either way, this is hilarious!!!
Without further ado... I bring you cooking with Chef Jeremiah!
Jeremiah and Daddy were snuggling one evening and the conversation went like this:
Daddy: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Jey: "I want to learn to take a shower."
They sat in silence for a brief moment as Daddy supressed a laugh and tried to think of a response when Jey blurted, "I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys R' Us kid!"
Just a bunch of random shots from my new fave location I have been talking about. A couple photog friends and I went exploring something interesting to shoot and we had so much fun just wandering and taking it all in. Thanks, ladies!!!
Enjoy!

Michele, are you going to kill me? xoxo!

I also have some shots of a blue dragonfly that posed so good for me that night! I can't wait to share soon!!!
