Macro Monday...

Sorry for the lack of creativity today. The boys have been sick last week and over the weekend and now it's my turn. Yay.

So instead of something really cool you get my handy dandy notebook. Enjoy!

Mario Kart PJs...

He just "HAD" to have them! And I gave in because it was that or he'd wear those awful superman PJs he's been wearing for the past two summers. Plus they were on sale and Bigger Plus, I also had a 30% off coupon at Kohl's. So, I say he got lucky. Unfortunately, Joshua is crazy jealous for some Mario Kart PJs but they didn't come in his size. Poor little guy. :(

"Mommy, I love you, you're the bestest! Thanks for my Wii Jammies"...

Reflection...

I met a sweet budding photographer who introduced me to her blog (Click HERE to see her cool work!). She joined my Basic Photography class I'm offering to our homeschool group. I've been thrilled to meet so many talented people that have joined!

She posted a challenge with the theme "reflection" and I thought I'd try it out since I've been slacking on my own challenges lately. Here is her challenge post: HERE!

And here are my vain attempts...

What is that???

A salt shaker top on scrapbook paper, of course!

Not overly creative, I know. But still kinda fun. And yes, I used my spoon idea (HERE) because I still love it. :P

Here's another option for Danielle's theme...

I know, even less original, right? :) I only had about 5 minutes to peruse my kitchen for something interesting to fit the theme, give a mom a break! By the way, I love that his hand is on the window and you can see that in his eyes also. But then I love almost everything about this kid. I say almost everything because the whining... ugh, don't like that. :)

This House on Thursday: Craft Day...

The boys are sick and sniffly and coughy... not much fun around here. So I broke out a box of rainy day crafts and Jeremiah was interested for about two minutes. Then he decided he'd rather draw. Joshua, however, was in hog Heaven!

Totally randomish snapshots here...

It's supposed to be a totem pole. lol

He really like this umbrella...

Can you tell?

Silly boy...

"What else ya got, mommy?"

Cute little Owl finger puppet...

Some sand art...

It was actually a really tiny bottle...

Mini Art Easel...

{Mommy Moment}
The boys lost their Wii priviledges for fighting over it. Joshua asked several times the rest of the day if he could play "Kart" (Mario Kart) to which he got the same response over and over "No."

This morning Jey asked if he could play Mario Kart to which Joshua quickly replied, "No! No Kart!"

Product Love...

I love love love my albums! Well, I guess they really aren't MY albums, so I suppose I really mean to say that I love love love my clients' albums! So much that I am dedicating a post just for some of the wedding albums so you can get a glimpse of the quality and AWESOMENESS...

The albums are simply AMAZING. I seriously fall in love with them every time a new one comes in! I have to remember they are not for me, but for my awesome clients and that helps me to let them go. But, WOW! Check these out!

Gotta unveil from the gorgeous green packaging...

Classic, yet stunning, wedding album...

Genuine leather and super soft suede combined to give a classic style the modern touch that brings it to stand head and shoulders above other wedding albums. (Don't worry, folks, there are also animal friendly choices that are just as amazing!)

There are literally hundreds of possibilities with the designs, shapes and cover options - each album is as unique as my clients!

I love the seamless pages...

They allow for some very cool page layouts...

The quality on these book bound albums is so astounding. These uniquely handmade albums are made to last for many many generations...

One upgrade that adds more elegance and modern styling is an ICE cover...

It's your stunning picture under a thick sheet of ice-like glass. The beveled edge throws it over the top of stunning...

Coupled with some fabulous quality materials to give it the step up above everyone else's album...

Again with the gutterless pages giving you the option for a dramatic layout...

A new option is the designer box...

Again, superior quality that will last forever...

But, of course, we love what's inside even more...

I love that the choices are as unique as my brides. This album is not as traditional but suits this couple perfectly! It is a timeless design that they can showcase in their home for even their grandchildren to enjoy. As beautiful as the cover is, it is also durable and reflects the personalities of the bride and groom...

Again, I love love love the layflat pages...

Now. Aren't you in love, too?

America's Next Top Model...

It's what happens when your kids are unavailable to assist you trying something new with your equipment. I wanted to see what it would be like to connect the extension tubes to my 70-200mm f/2.8. I likey.

Brownie Love...

I fixed myself a splurge snack and found a lovely surprise when I set it on my desk!

I {heart} brownies.

This House on Thursday...

I decided to just take some random pics of life around there today. It started early...

I got out of the shower this morning just as hubby was walking out the door for work. The boys had not been up long before my living room looked like this:

(no one had socks on so I'm not sure why or where this sock came from)

Hmmm... maybe I can capture them looking cute at a random moment after breakfast?

Nope, too busy playing Mario Kart...

Ok, let's put the Wii away. Everyone on the couch for some adorable brotherly shots!

Or not. We can just play with Joshua's McQueen "laptop". "What, mom?"

Well, at least his piggies are cute and will pose for me...

Then Joshua wanted to take some pics...

He's kinda artsy with his cropping...

Stop for a potty break...

(By the way, this is the BEST potty seat for a little boy! It's high enough for... well, it's high enough. :) And it's made well so it's comfy and easy for him to dump himself. I give it two thumbs up! The Elmo one we had for Jey years ago was a joke! If I could love a potty seat, it'd be this one!)

Okay, back to the couch. Hug your brother!

Or tackle him. Whatever.

Last try...

I'm taking what I can get. One day they'll wonder why I have such crazy faced pictures of them. I'll just tell them that this is apparently how they wanted to be remembered since it's the faces they made when I asked them for a pic! So there. :P
