Popping In...

Popping in for just a moment. I have SO MUCH to blog about! Sorry it's been weeks but the ice storm left us powerless for a week and when we got back home, we had lots of cleaning to do and the boys have been sick ever since. Please keep them in your prayers!

Mommy Moment:
For the past 7 months, Jeremiah has adored Joshua. They love each other and are thrilled to see each other every morning. It's just too gooey sweet. But today I think Jeremiah had a slight change of attitude for a moment...

He caught Joshua playing with his sunglasses and he yanked them from his hands. Daddy corrected Jeremiah and said it wasn't nice to snatch stuff from other's hands. Jeremiah was upset for a while longer and ran into the hall and begged Daddy to put the baby gate up. As soon as it was up, Jeremiah sneered at his baby brother on the other side, "Ha ha! You can't catch me now!!!" I found him a few moments later at my desk drawing this:

I asked him to explain his story and he said, "Joshua is crying. He tried to eat Jeremiah's glasses and Jeremiah got very mad. Joshua is crying because Jeremiah left him. Jeremiah doesn't like Joshua."

Anyway, it broke my heart to hear my little guy say he didn't like his brother. I know it's just a thing they say when they are upset but it's still sad to hear! Maybe we've just been spoiled in that he used to sing Joshua's praises and love and adoration for him every day so far. However, Jeremiah did attack him with hugs and tickles when he woke from his nap so all is okay again... maybe!

Last night I was playing with my new camera and shot a few snapshots of Jeremiah playing on the bed. It's a terrible pic but his shirt fits well with the Mommy Moment for today:
