Let me just start by saying that I am in NO WAY any kind of expert on photography stuff. I just love it, have fun with it and learn all I can. But there has been so many generous people that have helped me get where I am that I'd love to pass it along to others. Anyone game?
With all that said... I have no idea where to start so I would love for those interested to post a comment with some ideas. Something more specific than "how do I take better pics with my camera..." since I haven't seen your pictures and I have no idea what kind of camera you use! I did get one specific question about using the flash so I might start there. But I can talk about camera settings, what the heck is an ISO, how to get blurry backgrounds... whatever!
I would like to try to post something photography/photoshop related each Friday but if you know me, sometimes life gets in the way of blogging and I miss a time or two. I'm trying to be better! So you can get over it or come over and watch the kids so I have more time to blog. =) Oh and WHEN on Friday? Well, whenever I get there. It might be early, it might be late in the day. My goal is to just try to post on Friday no matter what time of day! I've been posting late in the evenings lately so you may end up checking in on Saturday morning. =)
So, go post some questions and check back next week!
And just because a post without my kids is a big no-no...
This footage was actually taken weeks ago and Joshua has improved a bunch, but I haven't taken anything recently (bad momma) so you get to view our silliness here:
When Brittany was visiting one day we got really silly and Joshua rode on Jeremiah's back. They had blast! You can hear Joshua's funny laugh here (and Brittany's cute giggles too!)...
{Mommy Moment}
Popeye is my new hero. Jeremiah said he needed to eat "Nine Broccolies" so he could be strong. I fixed him some with dinner and he ACTUALLY ATE THEM. Well, most of them. He gagged through it but still ate it without prompting! I have been telling him that even though Popeye doesn't like his spinach, he eats it anyway because it's good for him. I figured it was worth a try and it actually worked! I am seriously amazed. Floored. Stunned. Dreaming?????
I'm stunned too!
ReplyDeleteSoooo cute! Man, can he get around for such a little guy! Mine weren't even crawling by this age.
ReplyDeleteWOW, that IS quite an accomplishment getting him to eat broccoli!!! Milk it for all it's worth, sistah! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the videos... I miss you and the boys SO MUCH! I really need to get down there. SOON.
I don't understand ISO at all. I actually don't understand any setting on any camera except auto. That's what I've taken every picture in. Also, I'm really curious on focusing. When you can focus on something in the background with the foreground blurred and visa versa.
ReplyDeleteI'll be racking your brain a lot.
This is a great idea Joanne!!
