Hayride!

I am finally posting pics from our church's annual hayride! We had so much fun and the weather was PERFECT! This year, Leanne and Danielle lead horseback riders around the corral. The line for rides seemed never ending with all the city folk that showed up that night. It was a petting zoo of sorts with dogs and cats and goats and cows and horses... animals everywhere! Jeremiah's favorite was the big green tractor! He was so excited to even stand next to it! When the first hayride took off without him, Jeremiah ran after it screaming, "Tractor stop! Tractor, come back!" So of course we had to get on the very next round! which was a good thing since the third ride brought home a flat tire on the wagon! J loved the ride and the bouncing almost put him to sleep! Well, it may have also had something to do with his lack of a nap that day...

Okay, okay... on to the pics!
J sat on the tractor for me to take his pic but he was really trying to get into the cab!
He made it into the cab and felt like he was big stuff!

He didn't want to get down, even though he was starting to zone out (remember the no-nap thing?)
He wasn't the only one that couldn't wait to get up there! I love the tongue, shows her serious determination to get that tractor moving!

Here's "Farmer Mike" - can you tell he loves it when 93 people show up to his house?
The sun going down... It was like papparazzi when the sun burst through the trees! Everyone who had a camera that night got a shot of this:
Everyone seemed to survive "John's" chili. Hmmm... that must mean we need to make it hotter next year? But then John shouldn't eat any. It's tough to preach the next morning when your stomach is a wreck from eating that concoction!
