Yesterday, we planted some tomato plants in some buckets. Today, Jeremiah wanted to plant a garden!

He dug around in the dirt for a while and showed me what happens when you dig in the dirt. This is a good sign, usually he is very leary of getting dirty and likes it cleaned off quickly! He didn't seem to mind today:



We didn't have any seeds and he wanted to plant some potato chips but mommy found some Nerds Candy that she thought would work a little better:


Yup, I said Nerds!



He carefully scraped some dirt over his little Nerdy seeds with his shovel:


But that wasn't working too well so he got down and patted more dirt on top of the "seeds":


He then drenched them with water from the watering can:


Then sat back to watch them grow! LOL


When Daddy got home, he told him all about his gardening adventure...

"I planted the seeds and it's going to grow up BIG and TALL, all the way to the sky!"


"And then I water it so it will grow fast..."


"Then we'll have lots and lots of broccoli!" (LOL Mommy's the only one in this family that eats broccoli!)



And he also learned a new little trick...

He's been winking at everyone all day! LOL

I am actually on theme (barely!). This last shot was taken with the flash bounced off the wall/ceiling to my left (picture left) and there is a little light coming from the window on his left (picture right). No catchlights in this shot, his lashes are so thick and long and you can barely see his eyes when he squints!
