I love that Jeremiah has a great imagination - it's so fun! He has always been the kid who has to have things stay the same and he would always play with his toys the same way each time, the first way he ever played with it. Seriously, it was weird how Mr. Potato Head had to look the same each time and he'd get mad when I'd switch up the eyes or something - oh my did I get a fit from him! But somewhere along the lines things changed and he loosened up...

Yeah, right.

He is still very much the kid who likes things a certain way and doesn't always deal well with change but his imagination stretched him a bit and now he mixes things up at playtime...

So I thought I'd post a few pics of his random playing. I love that he mixed up all the toys together!

But never fear! Larry the Cucumber has snuck on board and is waiting for just the right moment to swoop in and save the day:


Oh, and just so you know... we were wondering where Jeremiah got his fascination with all things Pirate because he's never seen the Pirates of the Carribean or anything else related to pirates. Well, except the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything but he didn't even watch that all the way through! We did remember that he had a spell when all he wanted to do was read his Eye Spy Treasure Hunt book and then was thrilled (and obsessed) when we found him the same book on CD Rom:

It is a lot more fun and entertaining on the computer but Jeremiah still loves the books too! We are sure this is where the love began. And you know what? It says ages 6-10 but even though he was only three when we bought it, he was a whiz and had it beat pretty easily! (Mommy brag, I know )
