Sorry, no pictures today...

Just a little update we are excited about - JANE IS HOME!!! Yay! After a 13 hour plane ride from Korea, she spent 6 HOURS in Chicago due to repeatedly cancelled flights. But she finally got home yesterday evening. Wheee!

It was a crazy day and got even crazier when Katie and I left to pick her up from the airport. It is a 45 minute drive and Joshua kept waking up and getting SO MAD. Like couldn't stop screaming. After like 10 or 15 minutes I decided he wasn't going to stop so we'd pull over and get him calmed down and back to sleep for a little bit and then it would start again...

Jane texted that the flight was delayed - again. So we stopped at a park on the way for Jeremiah to run off some energy. Well, he was goofing off and had an accident in the bathroom leaving his underwear and pants and even shirt all wet. Go me, I only brought a change of clothes for my UN-pottytrained kid. =(

So we stripped him down and gathered up some extra "Ba-ba's", AKA burp rags (cloth diapers), for him to sit on and to cover his lap so we could leave him unharmed by the seatbelt. Yes, it was quite a sight and he seemed to enjoy it way too much!

Good thing Katie was with me - she ran in Walmart to buy some undies and clothes while I tended to Joshua (who was screaming again, poor thing). And Jeremiah thought that since I was out of my seatbelt while we were parked, he should be able to get out of his. I almost let him until I remembered that he was completely NAKED and he loved to go to the front of the van to jump around on the seat, push the buttons to open the windows and wave at people. Um, not a good time for that, son. So he reluctantly sat in his seat, barely covered sipping his drink from Wendy's, making mommy nervous. lol

Lots of other really little things that drove me nuts went on but it would be boring to read so I'll spare you!

But, I'll share this: We were listening to Ayiesha Woods and the lyrics to one song talk about how it's ok that life isn't always so good and that going through hard times can help us appreciate God. We knew these weren't really hard times but Katie and I spent the last 15 minutes of the drive to the airport listening to Joshua screaming again and listing all the things we were thankful for. It helped a lot!!!! =)

We have another adventure planned for today and tomorrow so I hope to be back tomorrow evening to blog some more (unless we get back too late and life gets crazy again!).

Love you all! Have a blessed week!
