{Mommy Moment}

I look at these little chubby hands with the long, slender fingers... I watch them grab everything in sight and see them get stuffed in his mouth... I giggle when I see them grab his toes for a nibble... I am amazed at all they figure out to do...

These little hands... what will they be doing 10 years from now? 20 years? 50 years?

They grow up so fast. I try to savor each moment but they are far too fleeting for me to keep up with. I want to soak up every moment, every smell, touch, sound, sight... savor it for a lifetime. But I know even those will fade...


So I will cherish each moment I am blessed to have with each phase. I will love and hug and kiss as much as I can while I can. I will be proud to encourage him to grow up to become the man God has created him to be. I will look forward to what the future has in store for him. The ups and downs, the trials and blessings... I will love every moment of my littlest man...
