First Senior Boy!

I pulled into the gravel parking lot and eyed the two vehicles parked near the bridge that crossed the nearly empty creek.

I was going to shoot my first senior boy this afternoon.

As I positioned the gear shift into park, I noticed a door opening from the car parked next to mine. I nervously glanced over to see if they were waiting for me. I recognized mom and returned her excited smile with a forced smile of my own. *Gulp* What have I gotten myself into? I peered around her searching for the boy she described as "a big ol' country boy who doesn't like getting his picture made." As mom and I traded greetings, he appeared from behind the wheel of his SUV. Twice my size with a football build, he adjusted his collar and walked towards us. I offered a greeting and joked about him being a model as I suggested we start near some stairs hidden in a patch of trees. His eyes beamed and he stood taller as he said (in the most non-interested voice he could find), "Nah, I don't like pictures." His voice trailed off as he strutted towards the stairs. Hmmm, I thought to myself, I don't think this will be so bad afterall...
