In a season of craziness around here, it's nice to have some pretty things to look at right out my kitchen window. In a humble pot on my deck I have some Gerbera Daisies (I love Daisies!!!) and their bright colors and simple style bring me joy each and everyday.

It rained a bit yesterday morning and when I saw the tiny water drops I was inspired to get my camera out. It's fun to shoot something different than portraits and weddings now and then. I seem to be drawn to nature-y things like plants and flowers. I think it's because I like the shapes, the lines, the colors... God created them perfectly! It inspires me when I photograph people too. :)
